Funeral service for Quitman Henderson, 90, of Danville, will be Monday December 12, 2016 at 2:00PM at Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church with Tom Salter and Renee Garlen officiating. Visitation will be Monday December 12, 2016 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mr. Henderson died Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was born on September 15, 1926 in Covington County Alabama to James David and Polly Adams Henderson. Mr. Henderson was retired from the Decatur City School System where he worked from 1959 until 1984 as an educator and administrator. He received his bachelors of science from Florence State Teachers college and his Masters from Auburn University.
Mr. Henderson was a former member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church and a current member of Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church.
