Preston Wayne Loggins, age 21, of Athens, died at Huntsville Hospital on November 20, 2025. He was born on September 29, 2004, in Decatur, Alabama, to Matt and Kelli Loggins.
Services for Mr. Loggins will be Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11 A.M., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with John Gibson officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. Burial to follow at Prospect Cemetery in Prospect, Tennessee. Pallbearers will be Caleb Hester, Andrew Bullington, Colby Ward, Brooks Ward, Austin Caver, and Tyler Eady. Honorary pallbearers will be Will King, Ethan Crutchfield, Ryan Keenum, and Aiden Crisler.
Survivors include his parents; sister, Alaina Loggins; paternal grandparents, Paul and Myra Loggins; maternal grandmother, Nancy Goss; uncles, Anthony Loggins, Cody (Miranda) Loggins, and Kevin Goss; cousin, Ivy Bea Loggins; and great-grandmother, Marie Davis.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather Allen Davis and great-grandmother Viola Walker Coburn.
Preston was a member of Pepper Road Church of Christ, a 2023 graduate of Austin High School, and was employed by Alabama Sheet Metal. He was a gifted musician and enjoyed fishing and watching Tennessee Volunteers athletics.
