Preston “Dale” Tankersley, age 55, of Albertville, passed away on September 25, 2025.
He is survived by his daughters, Madison Brooke Tankersley, Grace Sueann Tankersley, and Taylor Cheyenne Bliss; granddaughter, Lennox Elizabeth Bliss; sisters, June (Emmett) Perry, Lisa (Kenny) Bishop, and Debra (Dennis) Griffin; and brother, Richard Tankersley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Martin Tankersley, Jr. and Bettye Tankersley; and sister, Diane Raines.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Mount Vernon Cemetery.
