Posey P. Miller, Sr. 96 of Birmingham, passed away Thursday Oct. 6, 22 at Col. Robert L. Howard State Veterans Home in Pell City.
Mr. Miller was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was retried from U. S. Steel – Fairfield Works.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Louise Miller; sons, Charles Danny Miller, Ronald Dennis Miller and Posey P. Miller, Jr.
Survivors include his children, Timothy Miller (Patricia), Gary Miller, Elaine Bates (Don), Susan Moore (Glenn) and Alan Miller; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and sisters, Kathleen Thomas and Ruby Turner.
Graveside services and interment will be Monday Oct. 10, 22 at 11:00 am at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Adamsville. Rev. Larry Turner will officiate. There is no public visitation. Everyone is invited to meet at the gravesite.
