Polly Knott Best, age 83 of Sipsey, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Ridgeview Nursing Home.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Sipsey Church of God. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Sipsey Church of God, with burial at New Hope Cemetery. Dale Lawley and Ricky Adams will officiate.
Mrs. Best was preceded in death by her Father-Dorse Tidwell; Mother-Ella Tidwell; Sisters-Jean Tidwell and Dorothy Lay; Brothers-Fred Tidwell, William Tidwell and Kenneth Tidwell; Husband-J.M. Knott; Husband-James Best.
She is survived by her Daughter-Tammie Dooley (David); Sons-Morris Knott (Cathy) and Terry Knott (Sharron); Sister-Betty Norris; Brothers-James L. Tidwell, Wallace C. Tidwell and Thomas Tidwell; Grandchildren-Jessica Miller, Jesse Knott and Trevor Dooley; Host of Step Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Randy Tidwell, Bruce Tidwell, Paul Lay, Kenneth Lay, David Norris and Matt Norris.
