ATHENS-Craziness is coming to the stage…as wild as the weed it’s named after: Poke Sallet Follies. The annual event features the Prime Time Players, a collective of local actors and dignitaries who act not so dignified in various skits.
The show will be March 5, 6 and 7 at 7 p.m. at the Athens Senior Center on Pryor Street.
This year’s theme is LIVE! It includes acts that spoof the Athens Grease Festival, Blues Brothers and more.
Tickets are $35, and includes dinner and two hours of entertainment. All seats are reserved.
Tickets go on sale Feb. 9 at 7:30 a.m. at the Athens Senior Center. They will be available at the center weekdays from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Proceeds benefit the Limestone County Foundation for Aging.
