Phyllis June Wilbeck, 82 of Toney, Alabama died on Thursday, October 17, 2013, at her home.
Born Monday, June 22, 1931 in Painesville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John Alphonso Barstow and the late Alma Erickson Barstow. She was the wife of Laurie Wilbeck. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister: Carol Wilhjelm. She has lived in the Toney area for the past three years, coming from California. She enjoyed singing in the choir, and was a devoted mother and grandmother.
Surviving are daughters, Diane (Allen) Howard of Ohatchee, AL, and Denise (Mark) Wallace of Toney, AL, brother: Phillip Barstow of California, sisters, Elaine Vitello of Ohio, and Shirley Weiss of Ohio, four grandchildren, four, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Monday, October 21, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Alabama. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Monday, October 21, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
