Phyllis Graves Stevenson – Obituary

Phyllis Graves Stevenson, daughter of the late Bob and Hildred Graves, was born in Antioch, California Aug. 30,1955.

At the age of two they moved to Florence, Alabama. She attended grade school at Powell, Appleby, and graduated from Bradshaw High School in 1973. Phyllis was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Florence, Alabama. As a result of her talents, joyful spirit, and easy going personality, she was loved by many.

She quietly departed this life on May 31, 2017 at her home after an extended illness at the age of 61. Her life lives on by her four children, Taylor Stevenson, Tarah Brown, Tatum Davis, and Tricia Stevenson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three siblings.

She will be cherished in their lives forever, along with many friends, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service was held at FUMC on June 2, 2017, performed by Reverend Robert Sparkman.
