Beloved mother and longtime resident of Decatur, Alabama, Phyllis Ann Lohmeyer, age 62, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2018. She was born on January 13, 1956 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Robert and Agnes Lohmeyer.

Always full of spunk and sass, Phyllis was never short with a clever word or comment. To have met her was to see how her beautiful smile would light up the room. Cherished and loved by many, Phyllis’ greatest accomplishment will forever be raising her triplet daughters, Maryam Butler (Danny), Kiran Khan and Saara Khan. Her legacy will also continue with her two precious grandsons, Nathan and Zakary Butler.

She is also survived by her two sisters, Laurie Loyd (Tommy), Leigh Tourney (Charles); along with many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister, Linda Townsend.

Phyllis will be laid to rest at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home & Jefferson Memorial Gardens, 2701 John Hawkins Parkway, Hoover, Alabama.

In lieu of gifts or flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
