Mr. Phillip Walker Johnson age 56, of Guntersville, passed away Sunday May 3, 2020 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mr. Johnson graduated Spring Garden High School in 1981. He then went on to graduate from Jacksonville State College in 1985. He was the first paraplegic to graduate from the Jacksonville Stat Computer Science Department. He went on to work for the Department of Defense in 1984 until recently, receiving awards for excellent service.
Mr. Johnson was a true inspiration and showed extreme courage being a paraplegic and never giving up. He will be greatly missed by all whom knew and loved him.
Mr. Johnson leaves behind his loving wife; Jeanne` Johnson, and Mother; Mary Johnson.
He was preceded in death by his Father; Mancel Johnson.
