Phillip Taylor, 74 of Joppa passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at his sister’s home in Baileyton. He was born January 31, 1949 in Arab the son of James Taylor and Mattie Jo Cranford Taylor. He was a graduate of Arab High School, Class of 1967 and retired from PPG. He was honorably discharged from the Army National Guard.
He is survived by his sister: Julia Taylor Pacheco (Augustin); niece: Marina Richter Hodge (Eddie); nephew: Edward Richter; great nieces and nephews: Natalie Hodge, Robert Hodge and Kelley Richter; host of cousins and many dear friends.
The family has chosen to honor his wishes by cremation with a celebration of life service to be held later. Gober Funeral Chapel assisted the Taylor family with cremation arrangements.
