Phillip Norman Gray, 78, of Huntsville, passed away Friday. Mr. Gray was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Donna Lee Irving Gray; daughter, Veronica Lynn Gray; and siblings, Magdalina Ellen Gray, Sherman Grant Gray, Melba May Gray, Nina Lavern Gray, Marie May Gray, Phyllis May Gray, Lorrine Fay Gray, Jo Ann Gray, Dixie Jean Gray, and Jeanette Arlene Gray.
Survivors include his sons, Anthony Paul Gray and Brian Thomas Gray; and sisters, Jeannete Smallwood and Mary May Gray Grenfel.
Mr. Gray was a distinguished veteran of the US Army, serving two terms in Vietnam. Prior to serving in the Army, he served in the US Navy. He married Mary Donna Lee Irving in March, 1965 in Falls Church, Virginia. Phillip liked all things Scottish, going to Scottish Games, and traveled to Scotland four times with his wife.
There will be a memorial service at 12 noon Friday, May 3 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A second memorial service will follow at 1:30 Friday at Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
