Funeral service for Phillip Edwin Parker, age 75, of Trinity, will be 11:00 a.m.. on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Trinity Methodist Church with Brother Greg Burnett officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2024 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Parker, who died Thursday, January 25, 2024, at his residence, was born June 25, 1948, in Alabama to Robert Edrie Parker and Buna Lamon Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Carlton Ray Parker (Paula). Phillip loved fishing, tinkering with electronics, NASCAR, cooking, and especially spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Gilliam Parker; son, Jason Parker; daughter, Darcy Parker Renshaw; two sisters, Gail Parker and Carol Parker; four grandchildren, Jordan Davis (Carlee), Skylar Renshaw, Brady Renshaw, Aubrey Renshaw, and Kaytlin Parker; and three great-grandchildren, Lennyn Davis, Indie Davis, and Lee Vinson.
Pallbearers will be Don Collier, George Williams, Jordan Davis, Brady Renshaw, Russell Aetonu, and Blake Campbell, Cody Gilliam, Paul Parker.
