Phillip Edward Britnell, 56, of Florence, died Nov. 12, 2013, at ECM Hospital. He was a member of South Highland Freewill Baptist Church of Muscle Shoals and the National Rifleman’s Association.
Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, from 11-1 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Steward officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Britnell was preceded in death by his father, Ed Britnell.
He is survived by his mother, June Britnell; son, Jeremy Britnell; granddaughter, Savannah Noel Britnell; sister, Pam McMullan (Jonathan); wife of 33 years, Marcy Britnell; and loving Chocolate Lab and best friend, Muddy.
Pallbearers will be Andy Brown, Craig Brown, Bart Brown, Eddie Wright, Jonathan McMullan, and Wendell Gooch.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Barry Lumpkins, Dr. Robert Webb, and the nurses and staff of ECM Hospital.
