Phillip Boyd Hyatt, 64 of the Ruth Community passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at UAB Hospital. He was born January 14, 1961, the son of Gerald Hyatt and Mary Lou Norris Hyatt. He was a graduate of Arab High School and retired from the Alabama Transportation Department.
He is survived by his children: Joni Hyatt and Brandon Hyatt (Amy); grandchildren: Tucker, Tatum, Tara, Baylee and Tanner; sister: Melanie Hyatt Smith (Steve); brother: Anthony Hyatt (Shelia).
He will be laid to rest at Mt. Oak/Ruth Cemetery with a private graveside service, Gober Funeral Chapel directing.
