Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Corinth’s local luminary –Philip Kimmons Borroum “Bo” Mitchell, Visitation will be from 3pm until 5pm on Friday at Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. Jack Bennett officiating, service will immediately follow at 5pm at Memorial Funeral Home.
Bo passed away on August 4, 2026 in Corinth, MS. He was born on May 20, 1953 to the late McCamie Kimmons and Camille Borroum Mitchell. A graduate of Walnut High School, he worked as a real estate agent in the Corinth area for over three decades.
Beyond his professional career, Bo enjoyed taking care of all his animals. He thoroughly liked discussing history and politics and watching the sport of horse racing. One of his major accomplishments was being a proud Eagle Scout.
Bo is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lisa Mitchell; daughter, Kimmons Mitchell; brother, Lex Mitchell; sisters, Beverly Franklin and Lyn Mitchell; his beloved, twice incarcerated dog, Milo; and a host of other family and friends.
