Philip Joseph Vendetti, age 84, Muscle Shoals, passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Mr. Vendetti proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a metalogist at Reynolds for years. He was a devout Catholic, was a kind, caring father, and loved New York cheesecake. He was quite a jokester, always loving to pick on his family and friends. He was a loving friend to all who knew him.
The family would like to invite you to a time of remembrance and celebration of Mr. Vendetti’s life between 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 01, 2015 at his residence at 722 Grand Avenue, Muscle Shoals, AL.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Vendetti; his parents, Constantine Stanley Vendetti & Lena Pedone Vendetti; brother, Stanley “Sonny” Vendetti; and sister, Sylvia McCarver.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Michele Vendetti Robbinette (husband, Shane), Cynthia Stout (husband, Dennis); grandsons, Robert Comer, Michael Comer; 4 great-grandsons; nephew, Stan McCarver; niece, Gina Miller; great-nephew, Brent McCarver; and special four legged daughter & companion, Honey Bee.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Mr. Vendetti’s special caregivers, Kathy Smith, Lois Coburn and Lori Mansell for the kind, compassionate care shown to their family. Also a special thank you to everyone at Gentiva Hospice, the friends, and neighbors for your many prayers, visits, and thoughtful actions.
