Philip Dale Brown, age 74, of Huntsville, Alabama passed away Monday, February, 13, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Brown was born in Shelbyville, Tennessee to Harold M. and Dorothy Brown. He retired as an engineer from the Army Corp of Engineers. Mr. Brown was a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church in Huntsville. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold M. and Dorothy Ray Brown and his sister Cathy Skipworth. Mr. Brown is survived by his daughters Wendy Brown Gay and Kelly Brown Dunlap (Greg); brother Glenn Brown; sister Marilyn Brown Fowler; grandchildren Taylor Dunlap Davis, Jordan Gay Smetts, Sarah Dunlap Tuttle and Addison Dunlap and great-grandchild Rileigh Davis. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Whitesburg Baptist Church from noon to 1 pm. His funeral service will follow at 1 pm. Burial will be in Hampton Cove Cemetery.
