Phil Campbell Man Dies From Injuries Received In Single-Vehicle Accident Near Hackleburg

HACKLEBURG-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident that has taken the life of a Phil Campbell man:

“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m. Sunday, November10, has claimed the life of a Phil Campbell man.

Stephen K. Lauderdale, 46, was fatally injured when the 2007 Honda CR-V that he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. After the initial impact, the Honda overturned down an embankment and struck a fence.

On Monday, Nov. 11, Lauderdale was located and pronounced deceased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Alabama 172 near Tessner Road, approximately one mile east of Hackleburg, in Marion County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
