Funeral service for Pherby Maxine King 87, are set for 1:00 pm Saturday at Foote Street Church of Christ with Minster Reed Swindle officiating. Burial will follow in the Henry Cemetery.
Maxine died December 15, 2020, she was born June 16, 1933 in McNairy Co. TN. To the late Selmer and Georgie Wilmeth. She was a member of Foote Street Church of Christ, a graduate of Ramer High School. She worked as a telephone operator, switchboard and the hospital and was a clerk at Vendo. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Arnold King; son, Steve King; parents; brothers, Ethridge Wilmeth, Mack Wilmeth; sisters, Virginia Davis, Josie Barnes.
She is survived by her son, Paul King; daughter, Donna Jones (Stan); daughter-in-law, Patricia King; grandchildren, Wendy King, Jason King, Camron Jones, Alison Jones.
Family will receive friends Saturday from 11:30 am to service time at Foote Street Church of Christ.
