Perry Dean Rolin of Hampton Cove, AL, departed this life on Saturday December 19th 2015, after a valiant 21 month battle with liver cancer. His love for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and his outgoing, bold spirit compelled him to share the love of Jesus with the people God placed in his path and he lived his life to the glory of God. Dean was born to Mary Margaret King Rolin and Edward Daniel Rolin, Sr., in Ardmore, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Birdie Rolin Woodfin, Edward Daniel Rolin, Jr., Pauline Rolin Jones, and Nellie Rolin Van Manen. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Edith Diane Rolin, and his three precious daughters: Deborah Miller (Paul) of Owens Cross Roads, AL, Tambra Liberg (Brad) of Spokane, WA, and Lisa Volz (Alan) of Huntsville, AL; six grandsons: Chris Miller (Summer), Michael Miller, Ryan and Hunter Liberg, and Ben and Sam Volz; two great grandsons: Will and Noah Miller and his beloved little miniature schnauzer and constant companion, Annagrace. He is also survived by one sister, Marcella Rolin Yadack of Moore, OK and three brothers: Joe Rolin (Deannie), Bobby Rolin (Norene) and Stanley Rolin of Ardmore, TN; brother-in-law, Paul Van Manen of Ardmore, TN, and numerous nieces and neph ews. Dean was a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church and co-founder of the Christian Cancer Support Group in Huntsville. The family gratefully acknowledges the love and attention shown to us during Dean’s cancer journey by the staff at Clearview Cancer Institute (CCI) to our entire family, especially the loving care of his oncologist, Dr. John Waples. And, to the members of the Christian Cancer Support Group, our Whitesburg Baptist Church family, and our friends and neighbors for their continued prayers and support. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Berryhill Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday, December 21st, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, December 22nd , at 1:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home Chapel. An interment service will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Ardmore, TN, following the service.
