Percy Harlon Griffin, age 87, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired Senior Master Sgt. with the U.S. Air Force, and a member of First United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Lawrenceburg Rotary Club for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rufus and Grace Sledge Griffin; and daughter-in-law, Sylvia Griffin.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Griffin of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, Michael Griffin of Franklin, TN; two sisters, Katherine Brown of Birmingham, AL and Ora Parrish of Lawrenceburg, TN; and three grandchildren, Levi Griffin, Seth Griffin, and Soren Griffin all of Franklin, TN.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. A memorial service will be conducted at First United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 20, 2019, with Ed Trimmer and Michael Griffin officiating.
