ATHENS-Be on the look out, Pennsylvania State Police say a man suspected of shooting his girlfriend, Gail Monahan, age 50 in the head last month could be in North Alabama. The murder took place in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Randy Allen Herman, age 53 is wanted in as a suspect in the Pennsylvania murder of Monahan. Investigators say Herman rented a room in Athens at a Super 8 Motel on February 10th. Herman used Monahan’s bank card to rent the room.
It is believed he may be driving a maroon Ford Ranger pickup with Pennsylvania tag # YRC-7108.
Herman is known to work for cash as a day laborer or a farm hand. If you see the truck or Herman please call 911 or contact the Athens Police at 256.233.8700.
