Peggy Wood Hayes, 71, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born November 15, 1944 to the late Reggie Wood and the late Burton Byram Wood in Itawamba County. She was a member of Tremont First Baptist Church. She had a lot of wit about her, and loved to joke. She was very dedicated to her family and church family. She was always the last to sit down at church because she was socializing with her church family.
Services will be at 1 pm on Monday March 7, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Moore,and Bro. Jackie Gray officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm today at Senter Funeral Home.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim (Frank) Yielding of Fulton, Son, Tim (Cindy) Hayes of Fulton, 2 Grandsons, Hunter Yielding of Fulton, Grandson, Trevor Hayes of Fulton, 2 Granddaughters, Lauren Yielding of Fulton, Reagan Hayes of Fulton, Sister, Dorothy Wood of Fulton, 2 Brothers, Danny Wood of Fulton, and, Ricky (Nancy) Wood of Fulton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Hayes, her parents, 2 Sisters, Helen Lofton, and Johnnie Mae DeVaughn.
Pallbearers will be Mark Cooper, Tim Lofton, Phillip Lofton, Jeremy Wood, Thomas Wood, Donnie Lofton, and Brad Evans.
