Peggy W. McCormick, 86 of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 at Limestone Health Facility. Mrs. McCormick was born on August 11th, 1934 to E.B. Wright and Wanda Thompson Wright.
Funeral services for Mrs. McCormick will be on Thursday, December 3rd, at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church in Athens, with Joe Teal officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00-2:00pm at the church. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. McCormick is survived by her husband, Terry McCormick; sons Steve McCormick (Linda) and Greg McCormick (Pam); grandchildren Teri McCormick Crouch, Tori McCormick, Trent McCormick, and Tyler McCormick; great-grandchildren Brayden Cothern, Braylee Crouch, Tucker McCormick, and Laney McCormick; brothers Stanley Wright (Esther) and Norman Wright; and several nieces and nephews
Preceded in death by her parents; sister Joyce Wright Droke; brother Michael David Wright; and son Jeffrey Scott McCormick.
