Nannie was known for her wit and humor that was coupled with a selfless love for her family that was incomparable. She could give you advice you didn’t want to hear, but you knew she was right because her wisdom was beyond measure. From serving our family to her calm and stable nature, Nannie had a way of bringing peace to every situation. She intentionally loved you and always had time to sit and talk with you. From tea parties to Spongebob muffins, Nannie cherished her family and served them well.
Her ability to connect with each of us in her own special way was truly a gift, and the memories we have of her, from the big family gatherings to the quiet moments of sharing advice, are something we will always treasure. It’s comforting to know that the lessons she taught us and the love she gave us will continue to be a part of who we are even though she is no longer with us. We anticipate the day that we will meet and talk with her again on that beautiful shore.
