Peggy Marie Butler, age 73, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away peacefully Monday, March 30, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN surrounded by family and friends.
Known for her gentle spirit, kindness, faith, and humor, Peggy was preceded in death by her mother, Rachel Enochs Smith; her father, Wilson Emmett Aaron; and her sister, Emma Jean Lumpkins. Born in Spruce Pine, Alabama on December 27, 1941, Peggy lived in Lawrenceburg until age thirteen, when her family moved to Chicago, Illinois. She returned to Lawrenceburg in 1979.

An avid animal lover, she leaves behind her dog and cats.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Houser Cemetery at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 04, 2015, with Darrell Maggard officiating. Family and friends will meet at graveside at 3:00 PM.
