Funeral Service for Peggy Joyce Tucker, age 83, of Decatur, Alabama will be Monday, December 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Randy Berry officiating. Visitation will be Monday 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery
Mrs. Tucker died on Friday, December 9, 2022. She was born August 21, 1939 in Lawrence County, Alabama to Clarence Noel Butler and Susan Hipp Butler. She was a member of Austinville First Baptist Church and retied form the GE Plant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Susan Butler, husband, Melvin Dean Tucker, sister, Mary-Sue Walden, brother, Donald Butler, and great nephew Tony Walden.
Survivors include, nieces, Charlotte Hollis and Kim Johnson (Byron), nephew, Mark Walden (Becky), seven great nephews and nieces, and seven great-great nephews and nieces.
