Miss Peggy Jeanette Putman, 79, of Florence passed away on January 01, 2016 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. She was a 1956 graduate of Lauderdale County High School and a retired cosmetologist.
Visitation for Miss Putman will be on Monday, January 04, 2016 from 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Barkley Cemetery in Center Star.
Miss Putman was preceded in death by her father, Jesse E. Putman; mother, Verlie Covington Putman; sisters, Louise Berness, Joyce Putman, Nell Holden and Janie Putman and her brother Dennis Putman.
Survivors include her brothers, Jesse Putman Jr and Gene Putman; sisters, Bobbie Ann Wright, Doris Myrick, Verlie Lee Rideout, Freda Michael, Annette Putman, and Cassie Cleveland; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the charity of your choice.
