Peggy Jean Eason, 88, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in Parsons. Mrs. Eason was born in Lexington, Tennessee, on June 25, 1937, to the late Verlon Yarbro and Mildred Ruth (Alexander) Yarbro. She was a retired employee of I Appel, and was a member of the Decaturville Church of Christ. She loved her family and her church, and enjoyed going out to eat with her friends, who were very important to her. She loved to be taken shopping.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Eason was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Thomas Eason; her son, Thomas Michael “Mike” Eason (Judy); and a brother, Larry Yarbro. She is survived by a son, Shawn Eason; daughter, Teresa Creason (Gary); five grandchildren: Jeremy Creason (Amanda), Brandi Aston (Greg), Tia Camper (Jeremy), Reilly Eason (Ryan), Crystal Livingston (Micah); nine great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Graveside service for Mrs. Eason will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, June 5, at Pafford Scotts Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Pafford Funeral Home of Scotts Hill.
