Peggy J. Benson, born October 26, 1935, passed away November 30, 2015 in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Bennett and Roxie Bailey Benson, and brother John Ed Benson.

She is also survived by special great niece and nephews, Lindsey and Evan Davis and Blaine Moore.
Peggy retired from American General in Nashville after 58 years of dedicated service. She was a season ticket holder of Vanderbilt Basketball for 17 years, as well as an avid Vandy baseball fan.
Peggy was a member of the Brentwood Hills Church of Christ. She was a beloved sister, aunt and friend.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, December 4, 2015 and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 5, 2015. Interment will follow at Baker Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. Family suggests memorials be made to Ethridge Church of Christ or Ethridge Elementary School.
