Mrs. Peggy Guffey, age 71, of Scottsboro, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2018 at Scottsboro Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. with Lavonne Randall speaking and Father Tom doing a prayer. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service.
Mrs. Guffey is survived by her husband, Perry Guffey; son, Seth (Angie) Guffey; daughter, Cody (Ryan) Moon; grandsons, Jace Guffey, Gavin Moon, and Mason Moon; granddaughter, Blye Guffey; brothers, Vaughn Lands and Charles Lands; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lynne Long; parents, Arnold and Veda Lands; and sisters, Lamerle Williams and Doris Beard.
