Peggy Brown McFadden, 89, of Huntsville passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024. She was born in Carroll Co, TN to Ruby Rogers Brown and Denus Brown.
After marrying Billy “Mac” McFadden in 1951, his military career took their family to Germany and various places around the county before settling in Huntsville in 1968, where they eventually retired.
Peggy was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Billy McFadden; daughters, Maryann McFadden and Diane Osborn; and brother, Bobby D. Brown.
She is survived by daughter, Deborah Miller (John); son, Billy J. McFadden (Nancy); grandchildren, Brandy Holland (Ray), Stephanie Howard, and Michael Osborn (Amanda); great grandchildren, Daulton Holland, Janna Holland, Hunter Osborn, Jackson Osborn, Caleb Bates, Payton Westbrook, Kaleb Westbrook and Malyah Lacy; two great great grandchildren; brother, James D. Brown (Georgia); and sister, Reva Merrell.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. at Huntsville Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
