Peggy B. Threet, 77, of Florence, passed away May 19, 2014 at her residence. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 21, 2014 from 1 – 3 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Sonny Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Mrs. Threet is survived by her husband of 60 years, Donald W. Threet, Sr.; son, Donald W. Threet, Jr. both of Florence; daughter, Ann Cole (John) of Killen; brother, Billy Barkley (Linda) of Florence; grandchildren, Jessica D. Threet of Astoria, New York, Parker C. Threet of Huntsville.
Pallbearers will be Steve Darby, John Daily, Jeff Threet, Eddie Threet, Brent Barkley, and Chad Smith.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Lyman Mitchell, nurse Charlie, the office staff, and Hospice of the Tennessee Valley.
