Pedro Vargas Delgado, age 86, of Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Helen Keller Hospital. He was born April 23, 1934 in Mexico.
The visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2020 at Spry Memorial Chapel. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church of Russellville. Father Vincent Bresowar will be officiating. Burial will be at Colbert Memorial Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Esteban Martinez; father, Amado Vargas; mother, Jimenez Panfila Delgado; and sister, Maria Concepcion Vargas Delgado.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Amado Vargas (Alejandra), Alvaro Vargas, Lena Vargas (husband, Martin), Gerardo Vargas (wife, Patricia), Maribel Alas (husband, Manuel), Fredi Vargas (wife, Maricela), Jaime Vargas, Graciela Vargas, Nure Vargas (husband, Savl), Patricia Hernandez (husband, David), Melina Vargas (husband, Gustavo), Fernando Vargas, Felipe de Jesus Vargas (wife, Michaela); numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren; and brother, Ladislao Vargas.
