Pauline Brookshire RenfroPauline Brookshire Renfro, 93, homemaker and former long-time resident of Haven Circle, died Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Life Care Center of Columbia.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Reverend Frank Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 12:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials be made to First United Methodist Church, 222 West 7th Street, Columbia, TN 38401. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnicholos.com.

Born March 13, 1925 in Washington County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Thomas E. Brookshire and the late Effie McEwen Brookshire. On May 16, 1952, she married Frank Whitson Renfro who preceded her in death June 15, 1994. Mrs. Renfro was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church and the Ayers-Whitney Fellowship Class.

Survivors include her nieces, Sherry Liggett, Karen Stevens, Patricia Dodson; and nephews, David Brookshire and Daniel Brookshire.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Franklin Renfro; four sisters; and four brothers.

Active pallbearers will be Keith Winchester, Mike Parrott, Danny Lea, Greg Daimwood, Mike Parris, Ken Cathey, and Joe Newton. Honorary pallbearers will include members of Ayers-Whitney Fellowship Class at First United Methodist Church.
