Paulette Barnes, 71, of Ardmore, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, August 27,2025, at Athens Hospital in Athens, Alabama.
Paulette was born on Friday, September 4,1953, to Mr. Amos Howard Barnes and Mrs. Annileetha Trusty Barnes in Limestone Co., Alabama.
He spent all of his life in Ardmore, Alabama, where Paulette was a farmer.
Paulette was a member of Boyd Chapel Methodist Church.
Paulette was preceded in death by both of his parents, two brothers; Sonny Barnes, Curtis Barnes, two sisters; Faye Cox, Janie Barnes.
He is survived by his wife, Samantha Barnes of Ardmore, Alabama, four sons; Johnathan Barnes of Ardmore, Alabama, Zachery (Mary Anna) Barnes of Pulaski, Tennessee, Samual (Michalla) Barnes of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Joseph Barnes of Ardmore, Alabama, eight daughters; Tabatha Barnes of Hartselle, Alabama, Rubyleetha Barnes of Ardmore, Alabama, Jessica Barnes of Ardmore, Alabama, Heather Barnes of Ardmore, Alabama, Hanah Mabe of Rogersville, Alabama, Savannah Barnes of Madison, Alabama, Molly Barnes of Athens, Alabama, Heidi Barnes of Ardmore, Alabama, three brothers; Jerry Pack Barnes, Marcus Barnes, Ted Barnes, four sisters; Caroline Thompson, Brenda Boatwright, Joyce Ann Moore, Dorsey Birdsong, thirty-seven grandchildren, as well as eight great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama on Sunday, August 31, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A chapel service will follow directly afterwards at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Barnes Cemetery.
The Family will be hosting a get together party at the Valley Tavern that evening to celebrate his life.
