Funeral services for Mrs. Paula Gaye Summers, age 73, will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, December 19, 2020 in the Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Jonathan Criswell officiating. Burial will follow in Yorkville Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5 PM until 9 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Summers, a retired employee of Brown Shoe, custodian at the Trenton First Baptist Church and waitress at Catfish Cookers, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at her home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Ray Summers; and a sister, Sandra Neisler (Alton).
Mrs. Summers is survived by two daughters, Gail Wallace (Mike) and Tammy Ernest (Tim); two sons, Phillip Ball (Lynette) and James Summers (Melinda); three sisters, June White (Bobby), Patricia Cleek (Dewayne) and Leigh Ann Brown; a brother, Terry Brown (Joyce); eleven grandchildren, Jessica Inman, Tessa Buckingham, Chris Ernest, Blake Ernest, Kevin Ernest, Shelby Ball, Maddox Ball, Bryan Summers, Kaylee Summers, Aubrey Summers and Madison Summers; fourteen great grandchildren and a great-great grandson.
Pallbearers will be Jordan Summers, Bryan Summers, Kenny White, Jacob Neisler, Rocky Joe Barron and Leon Perrigan.
