Visitation will be held at Roselawn Funeral Home on Sunday October 11, 2026 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 p.m.
Paul Allen is survived by his wife, Lynda Strong Allen; daughter, Amanda Marie Allen; sister, Sandra Farquhar; nephew, Trevor Allen.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Edward Allen and mother, Glenna Miller Allen.
Paul was born July 28,1956 born in Del Rio, Texas. He graduated from BeaverCreek High school in BeaverCreek, OH in 1974. He attended University of Alabama Tuscaloosa where he achieved his Bachelor of Science in education and his Masters of Arts. He was a member of Phi Kappa Sigma Fraternity and NSRA. He was also a technology student associate advisor (TSA). He was the 2018 Decatur High School Teacher of the year. 2013-2014 TSA advisor of the year and achieved the Outstanding Teacher Award for 2000-2001.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Diabetes Association.
