Mr. Paul Mark Evans, age 66, of Union Grove, AL, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2023. Paul was born in Corona, California on October 18, 1956, to his parents, Harry Earl Evans and Patricia Frances Rogers Evans. Paul was of the Catholic faith and was a US Army veteran. He was an Electrical Engineer and was employed by Dynetics, Inc. in Huntsville. He was married to Deirdre Lynn Durocher Evans.
Paul was an individual with many interests. He enjoyed working with his tools and developing his creative skills with woodworking and as a result he created many wonderful items. He loved working outdoors but at the same time he could shoot a mean game of pool. Family was extremely important to Paul; he always enjoyed their company and was always grilling and cooking outside for them.
Family members surviving the loss of Paul include: his wife, Deirdre Durocher Evans; son, Michael Scott Evans (Natasha); daughter, Barbara Ann Evans; step-son, Lewis Charles LaRue, Jr.; step-daughter, Jessica Leigh Nelson (Jason); brothers, John Evans (Pam) and David Evans (Hope); sister, Christine Evans (Steve); grandchild, Annalise Russell; and 5 step grandchildren.
Preceding Paul in death are his parents; Harry and Patricia Evans.
The family has elected cremation. A Celebration of Life will be announced when plans are finalized.
