Paul Lee Shultz, age 74, of Gadsden, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. Paul was born January 31, 1947. Graveside service will be held 11 am Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Guntersville City Cemetery. Father Carl Saxon will officiate. Collier Butler Will direct service. Paul was a resident of Gadsden and a member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter. He was a graduate of Auburn University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He had retired from Gulf States Steel. Paul is preceded in death by his wife Julie Roberts Shultz and parents Howard Knox and Mary Greene Shultz. He is survived by his childrenAbbie (Daniel) Parker and Nathan Shultz; grandchildren Harrison, Cooper, Avery, Olivia, Braden and Marlee Grace; sister Jennifer (Jim) Watson; Niece Emma ; and many cherished friends. Paul’s family will serve as pallbearers. Henry Goldsmith is an honorary pallbearer.
