Paul Larry LylePaul Larry Lyle,75, died Saturday, December 8, 2018 at his residence. On May 31, 1943, he was born to Preston and Alice Lyle in Tupelo.  Paul married the love of his life, Lynn Jackson Lyle, fifty-two years ago on  July 17, 1966.  He graduated from Mooreville High School in 1962 and began working for Rockwell Delta International.  He retired from Rockwell Delta International after 39 and a half years of employment.  After retiring, Paul began working part-time for the Lee County First District. He was an avid sports fan who loved playing and watching baseball. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and anyone else he could get to come along. Paul was a family man who loved his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandson. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of Oakridge Christian Church for over thirty years.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Lynn Jackson Lyle; children, Barry and Rachel Lyle and Kathy and Tim Hallmark, all of Tupelo; grandchildren, Jake Lyle (Chelsea) of Saltillo, Bryan Hallmark (Lacey) of Dorsey; Logan Lyle of Tupelo; Baylee Hallmark (Brandon) of Tupelo; great-grandson, Fisher Lyle of Saltillo; one brother, Anthony Lyle of Tupelo; one sister, Dorothy Lyle of Tupelo; sister-in-law, Ann Pennington (Prentiss) of Aberdeen; and brother-in-law, Steve Jackson (Debbie) of Saltillo.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Preston and Alice Lyle; one sister, Mary Sue Lyle Hubbard; one grandson, Tyler Hallmark; and in-laws, Thurston and Katherine Jackson.

Services honoring his life will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Archie Taflinger and Rev. Dale Carr officiating.  Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery in Auburn.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday December 10, 2018 at W.E. Pegues, Tupelo.

Pallbearers will be John Webb, Fred Webb, Jerry McKee, Jerry Scruggs, Buddy Collins and Donnie Davis.
