Paul Irwin
(August 24, 1940 – June 23, 2013)
Paul Irwin, 72, of Iuka, Mississippi, formerly of Memphis, Tennessee, died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. Paul worked in the commercial building business for forty years before retiring to Iuka in 1998. Over the years he enjoyed many hobbies and activities, including travel, motorcycles, car restorations, and photography. He also enjoyed camping, hiking, music, fishing, and boating. No one could have loved Iuka more than Paul. He constantly spoke about what a wonderful community Iuka is, and was very proud to have adopted Iuka as his hometown. Visitation is scheduled for 1:00 until 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 26 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 26, graveside at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery, officiated by Richard Hollis and Bro. Dan Helmintaller. Interment will follow in Mt. Evergreen Cemetery. Pallbearers include Ken Johnson, Richard Hollis, Ronald Brent, Ed Pulliam, Hart Perigen, and Phillip Lehner. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Irwin of Iuka, MS; a daughter, Olivia Byrd and husband, Rocky, of Roanoke, VA; two grandchildren, Ellis and Billie Byrd; a brother, Gil Irwin of Wills Point, TX; and a sister, Cheryl Turner of Memphis, TN. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Evergreen Cemetery Fund or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
