Paul Edward McCrite, 81, of Sheffield, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, January 21 at Woodmont Baptist Church beginning at 10 a.m.
Paul was a native of Illinois and longtime resident of the Shoals. He was a retired plant manager of Southern Metals, a retired realtor, and a member of Woodmont Baptist Church. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou McCrite; parents, Harley Melton and Pansy McKee McCrite; four brothers; and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen McCrite; children, Angela Oliver (Michael), Rachel Beasley (David), and Paula McCrite; stepchildren, Saski Greenway (Michael), Nicolle Bartin (Billy), David Garrison (Janet), Andrea Garrison, and Dakota Garrison; brother, Earl McCrite; sister, Jeanna Mae Zimmerman; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Jerry and Charlotte Dean, and everyone at Woodmont Baptist Church.
