Mr. Dumas passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at his home. He was born in Etowah County, but had spent the majority of his life in Goodwater. He attended Bibb Graves School, and worked a variety of jobs over his lifetime. He also had a passion for mechanic work, his horses, and fast cars. He was a one of kind man; a jokester with his daughters and grandchildren. Whether it was chasing Tonya with a fly swatter, or fussing with Joshlynn, he simply enjoyed spending time with his family. Paul loved to go to the beach and spend time with his brother, eating oysters and seeing the ocean. He was even doing his best to teach Joshlynn and Dallas how to do Mechanic work, even though it was through videos. He was acaring father, grandfather and brother.

Mr. Dumas is survived by his wife, Lisa Dumas of Alexander city; two daughters: Savannah Jo Dumas, and Tonya Dumas Wentzell (David), both of Goodwater; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; one brother, Leve Dumas (Trina) of Panama City, Florida; plus other extended family.
