Paul David Walls, 61, of Madison passed away Tuesday. Paul was a native of Denver, CO and a resident of Madison County since 1979. He was a retired veteran of the U.S. Army, having served his country for over 20 years and had attained the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a member of Madison Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his step-son: Jim Edward Bearfield and his father: Benjamin R. Walls. Survivors include his wife of 33 years: Dianna Lynn Walls; one daughter: Christina Dianne Walls Pool and husband: Joseph L. Pool; one brother: Ralph Walls; one sister : Lois Ann Bailard; his mother: Mary Lois Strickland Walls and three grandchildren: Ashley Renee Bearfield, Savannah Lynn Pool and Samuel David Pool. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a memorial Chapel service with full military honors at 5:00 p.m. with Bro. Mike Rogers officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
