Paul “David” Ginn, at age 70, died after a brief illness on Thursday, January 20, 2022. A Greenville native and longtime resident of Bastrop, La., David was born August 13, 1951 and had lived in Tupelo since 1992. He spent much of his life in Bastrop where he owned Ginn Grocery Store and served a vast rural area of Northeast Louisiana in the State Senate. He completed his working career at Walmart serving various stores in the South.
A graveside service celebrating his life will be held at 2 PM Monday, January 24, 2022 at Tupelo Memorial Park on Joyner St. There will be no visitation. Holland Funeral Directors-Tupelo Chapel is honored to be serving the family
David leaves his wife, Pat Brown Ginn, a Tupelo native to whom he married on April 26, 1975 and a son, Philip Ginn of Parker, Colorado.
