Born and raised in Elizabethton, Tennessee, Paul graduated from East Tennessee State University (ETSU) where he was the first person to complete a four years degree under the GI Bill. Later he received a Master’s from Auburn University in Industrial Psychology. Paul’s accomplishment are too numerous to mention. He was Chief of the Professional recruiting Office at the Space Center prior to his retirement in 1983. He was a member of the VFW, DAV and the Elks. He was the most loving, caring and compassionate person, as he helped hundreds of individuals, especially veterans to receive their benefits in many forms. He gave respect and dignity to individuals.
