Paul Bright, of Corinth, MS, passed away on October 14, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center – Tupelo, at the age of 82. Born on January 8, 1943 to the late Caleb Fed and Zena Elma Crum Bright, Paul was a member of Theo Holiness Church and retired with Caterpillar after 19 years of service. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed preaching, gospel singing, and traveling to the mountains. Paul is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Vertie Nelson (Dee), Elvie Crum (Dock), Cheerful Bobo (Pearl), Earlean Bright, Melba Talley (William), Joyce Crum, and Angel McMahan (Doug); his brothers, Hoover Bright (Opal) and Harold Bright (Eva Mae) and is survived by his daughter, Laura Weston (Henry); his sister, Ann Bright; his brother-in-law, Johnny Wayne Crum; other relatives and many friends. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 5-8 pm and Monday, October 20, 2025 from 12 pm till service time at Theo Holiness Church. Services are scheduled for 2 pm Monday, October 20, 2025 at Theo Holiness Church, officiated by Rev. Jimmy Rich, Rev. Tim Dixon, and Rev. Ronald Wilbanks. Pallbearers include Chuck Kirk, Todd Talley, Clay Talley, Benjie Bright, Jimmy Tate Walden, and Justin Walden. Honorary pallbearers include Dennis Jones, Larry Bright, Dale Jackson, Henry Weston, Robert Bright, and Jerry Talley. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Methodist Cemetery.
