Paul Anthony Holland, age 76, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2021, at The Meadows of Fulton. He was born on May 2, 1945, in Charleston, MS. He graduated from East Tallahatchie High School in Charleston, MS, and Bevill State Community College in Hamilton, AL, with a major in Computer Programming. He was a long time employee of Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN. Anthony loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed horseback riding and hunting. Most of all he loved the people of Byhalia. You could always feel that warmth by the way he loved and complimented his friends. Conversations always included how good his friends were to him and especially his beloved church members.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marty Holland; his parents, Clyde E. Holland and Kirby Marders Coulter Holland; his sisters Dorothy (Dot) Jean Holland Mitchell, Mary Dean Holland Lane, and Kirby Joanne Holland Vandervoort; and brother, Clyde Holland, Jr.
He is survived by brothers, Charles T. Holland and wife Sydney of Magee, MS, and James C. Holland and wife Nancy of Fulton, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews that he considered his children.
A graveside service will be held at the Oakland Cemetery in Oakland, MS, on Wednesday, October 6. Service time will be determined and published as it becomes available. Brother Bill Britton will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Brad Holland, Chad Holland, Eric Holland and Jim Holland.
